European Economic Interest Group

The European Group of Economic Interest (E.E.I.G.) is a legal instrument of economic cooperation introduced by European legislation, aimed at fostering transnational cooperation between subjects belonging to different EU member states.

The E.E.I.G. is an independent entity with legal capacity whose purpose is to facilitate and develop the economic activity of its members without pursuing profits for itself.
This Community instrument is intended to facilitate transnational cooperation between companies to facilitate the development of the European internal market. It is an important tool for cooperation between European companies, for SMEs wishing to participate in projects of a Community scale.

The E.E.I.G. it can participate in public tenders and access programs financed by European public funds, thanks to its transnational character which makes it an ideal candidate for community support programs.

The E.E.I.G. due to its legal nature, it represents a fundamental guarantee for its commercial partners, as well as strengthening their competitiveness. Thanks to the flexibility that the EU regulation grants to E.E.I.G. in the choice of its objectives, this collaboration is interesting for many companies: in fact, it gives them greater representation and negotiation power than that of the individual members.

As an administrative mediator accredited to the European Commission, the E.E.I.G. represents a privileged actor for the implementation of the initiatives that its members wish to implement using the European structural funds and the various community programs.

HES E.E.I.G. aims to enhance, promote, and innovate the global tourism ecosystem, through the sharing of resources, activities and experiences of its members and partners, with particular attention to the values ​​related to sustainable growth.

The group aims to promote and support the growth of businesses, particularly in the hospitality tourism sector, by developing cooperation between institutional and business entities of one or more countries.

Particular attention is paid to the projects of HES E.E.I.G. to safeguard and enhance the historical, artistic, natural, and cultural resources of the territory and to promote them at an international level, to enhance tourism demand and development with respect and sustainability.

To this end, the Group puts the latest technologies at the service of the tourism ecosystem, encouraging the research and application of innovative solutions to this constantly evolving world, in which new needs are created every day.

The group also deals with training and communication, know-how transfer and process improvement.

Through his projects HES E.E.I.G. wants to promote and support initiatives aimed at developing cultural exchanges, the comparison between identity and collaboration between peoples as well as economic, social, cultural integration and scientific development within and outside the European Union.
